Eligibility
Engineering:
- F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for all Engineering Programs.
- F.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science / Studies for Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Telecom Engineering only.
- BS Computer Science: F.Sc. /equivalent qualification with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science/ Studies.
- Bachelor of Architecture: F.Sc./ equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.
BS Mathematics:
- F.Sc. / equivalent qualification with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science/Studies.
Medical:
- F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Biosciences (BS Virology and Immunology):
- F.Sc./ equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Business Studies / Social Sciences:
- Intermediate or an equivalent qualification.
Ineligibility:
Candidates with following deficiencies are not eligible to apply for admission test of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Undergraduate Programs:
- Having less than 60% marks in Matriculation and FA/F.Sc.
- Failed/not appeared in any subject in FA/F.Sc. Part-I/Part-II.
- Having less than 60% marks in O/A Levels as per equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
- Not in possession of valid O Level equivalence certificate issued by IBCC at the time of applying to National University of Sciences and Technology.
- Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for any undergraduate program at NUST.
Financial Assistance
20% of top merit position holders in NUST entrance test with respect to total seats in each discipline will be awarded waiver of tuition fee for the 1st semester (1st academic year in case of Medical) on joining the respective school / college.
How to Apply?
A candidate can submit the application form, available online at NUST website www.nust.edu.pk after providing his / her valid e-mail address. On completion and submission of the form, the candidate will take the print of a challan form and will deposit the specified amount on the same in any branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL).
Facilities for online application forms will be available to the candidates from March 28, 2011. Please visit National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) website www.nust.edu.pkaccordingly. Last date for submission of applications is May 01, 2011.
Prospective candidates desirous to apply for Undergraduate Admission for session 2011 are advised to get their CNIC or Registration B Form completed and issued by NADRA.
Important Notes
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks each in Matriculation and in FA/F.Sc. (excluding NCC marks) / equivalent exams are required for all Undergraduate Programs.
- Students who are appearing in FA/F.Sc. final year / equivalent exams during 2011 or have appeared in the same are eligible to apply.
- Candidates appearing on the basis of FA/F.Sc. (Part-I) result should enter marks of FA/F.Sc. Part I.
- Candidates who have passed FA/F.Sc. with 60% or above aggregate marks are eligible irrespective of their marks in F.Sc. (Part I / Part II).
- Be up to the standards of physical fitness and eyesight
- Female candidates are not eligible to apply for Aerospace, Avionics and Civil Engineering at Risalpur Campuses.
Applying on the basis of SAT for National and International Seats:
Candidates of this category have to submit their SAT Reasoning/ SAT Subject Test scores (as applicable) directly from Collegeboard, USA to NUST latest by July 10, 2011. NUST Institutional Code to receive SAT scores is 2790. It is responsibility of the candidate to ensure entry of SAT Score on “My Account” page online and submission of the same to Undergraduate Section, NUST, Sector H-12, Islamabad by due date.

Test Centers
- Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Okara, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Risalpur, and Sargodha.
Candidates are required to bring the print of their Admit Cards to the test centers along with original CNIC/passport or original matriculation / equivalent certificate on the day of exam for identification.

@Namra, lol u dnt need to worry about your eyesight, jst give the test with confidence n get a good score n u’ll get admission, all that eyesight stuff doesnt really happen around here. n m a nustian, joined last year so i know what we went through, no eyesight related matters would hinder in ur admission, best of luck :)
