Scholarship Description: The PhD fellow will work on a collaborative project between Professor Susanne Mandrup, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark and Professor Jens Juul Holst, The Novo Nordisk Centre for Basic Metabolic Research, University of Copenhagen aiming at unravelling the role of carbohydrate response element binding protein (ChREBP) in pancreatic ?-cells. It is a prerequisite that the candidate has experience with ?-cells and transcriptional regulation.
